Colton Fox is excited to announce his collaboration with Julianna Notten on her first feature film, Erin’s Guide to Kissing Girls. Together they created the characters of Scarlet Sparrow and Lunar Girl, two superheroes that star in the favorite comic book series read by the film’s titular character.
In addition to designing the characters, Colton Fox also provided t-shirt designs, artwork, original comic book covers, and illustrated a promotional tie-in comic for the film written by Julianna Notten and lettered by Micah Myers. Colton Fox also has a cameo in the film as a disgruntled comic book fan.
Together Colton Fox and Julianna Notten have plenty more planned for Lunar Girl & Scarlet Sparrow.
Erin's Guide to Kissing Girls follows Erin, a spunky, headstrong twelve year-old girl in her attempt to woo the coolest girl in school, Sydni. Erin's plan is to ask Sydni to the annual spring fling with the help of her best friend and partner in crime, Liz. However as Erin becomes wrapped up in her mission to get Sydni to go to the dance with her, it starts to put a strain on her friendship with Liz as Liz begins to feel less important in Erin's life.
