Scarlet Sparrow and Lunar Girl are two superheroes that feature prominently in the film Erin’s Guide To Kissing Girls written and directed by Julianna Notten. Within the film, lead characters Erin and Liz are die hard fans of this comic. In celebration of pride, the comic that appears in the film is now available at The Beguiling and Queen Street Video in Toronto for FREE! This promotional tie-in comic was written by the film’s director/writer and illustrated by Colton Fox. In addition to designing the characters and illustrating the comic, Colton Fox also provided t-shirt designs, artwork, and multiple original comic book covers to be featured in the film. Colton Fox also has a cameo in the film as a disgruntled comic book fan. 

Together, Colton Fox and Julianna Notten have plenty more planned for Lunar Girl &  Scarlet Sparrow.

Erin's Guide to Kissing Girls follows Erin, a spunky, headstrong twelve year-old girl in her attempt to woo the coolest girl in school, Sydni. Erin's plan is to ask Sydni to the annual spring fling with the help of her best friend and partner in crime, Liz. However as Erin becomes wrapped up in her mission to get Sydni to go to the dance with her, it starts to put a strain on her friendship with Liz as Liz begins to feel less important in Erin's life.
